Dr. Areeba Khalid is a proficient dietitian with extensive training in nutrition and dietetics. She holds a Doctor of Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences degree from the University of Lahore, which she completed in January 2022. Her academic journey also includes an Intermediate education from Punjab Group of Colleges. Dr. Areeba’s education is complemented by various certifications.

Dr. Areeba has different experience in various clinical settings. She began her career as a Nutrition Intern at Hammed Latif Hospital in 2019, where she conducted nutritional assessments and developed tailored meal plans for patients. She further honed her skills during internships at the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital and Sir Gangaram Hospital, focusing on patient education and clinical documentation.

In 2022, Dr. Areeba served as a Clinical Nutritionist at Cavalry Hospital, working primarily in the pediatric ICU and managing chronic disease nutrition plans. Her role as a Nutritionist at Nestle involved conducting educational sessions on Nestle Bunyad products across different cities. Currently, she is a Clinical Nutritionist and Consultant Dietitian at Sohail & Salma Hospital Trust, where she continues to educate individuals about the benefits of balanced diets and exercise programs.

Her clinical expertise includes Weight Loss, Weight Gain, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Postpartum Nutrition, Diabetes Management.

Dr. Areeba Khalid is passionate about spreading health awareness and addressing often overlooked nutritional issues in Pakistan. She actively engages with the community through social media and television, creating informative content on topics such as hormonal imbalances and diet management.

Her dedication to public health is also evident in her volunteer work, including fundraising for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Center.

Dr. Areeba specializes in eating disorders and food safety management, having completed internationally recognized training courses in these areas. Dr. Areeba has worked with several fitness centers and gyms, using her skills to guide individuals towards healthier lifestyles.

Areeba’s contributions to the field include her publication in the Pakistan Biomedical Journal, where she explored the impact of essential fatty acids on neurological disorders. She is also an active member of the Pakistan Food and Nutrition Organization, where she has organized health awareness seminars and nutrition camps.
